Really sick of people banging on about Icelands population. Newcastles population is less than 300,000 and they had Brian Robson, Steve Bruce, Peter Beardsley, Chris Waddle, Paul Gascoigne and Alan Shearer playing in the top flight around 1990. You only need to produce 11 players. Even one good player can make a difference. If population mattered India and China would be the best in the world. Every time Icelands population is mentioned they have to throw in some random place like Croydon to compare it to. It really grinds my gears.

despite newcastle being a dump - it does still have grass for the kids to play on. unlike most of iceland.
maybe post-brexit newcastle should apply for independance from the UK?? they'd prob win the world cup.
